Wetpits is open for business.
Wetpits was created because there was demand for discussion with more privacy. Wetpits is a private forum for active offshore racers.
Private means that we can and will discuss anything here without fear of outside interference. Likewise, there should be less fear that a frank and open discussion might interfere with the outside.
Active offshore racer means that all Wetpits subscribers must be actively involved in offshore racing. Whatever your club or sanctioning body - your choice! Whatever function you may have - throttles, driver, navigator, rescue team, paceboat driver - whatever you may do for the sport: we thank you for it.
Active offshore racer also means that all new subscriptions must be reviewed and manually approved - there is no on-line robot yet to check your status as a racer - thankfully so. Anonymous faceless posting is not allowed in the Wetpits. Like in the real pits, we know each other by name.
Lastly, this forum does not compete with other bigger and better fora. Wetpits has a very limited scope: Only the active offshore racer. And only for topics which should be discussed in private. We love you, Offshore Only! And we thank Ray Van (Dredgeking) for lending his able hand to moderating Wetpits.
